Camellia

Today while looking for letterboxes at Mercer Arboretum in Spring, TX I came across a flowering Camellia plant. Boy did this bring back memories - these plants were everywhere in Lafayette, LA. I loved these flowers and I always thought they were beautiful. I also encountered a cypress swamp and spanish moss. I felt like I was back home.

Mercer Arboretum brings back such exciting memories. It is packed full of letterboxes!

Did you happen to get way-laid while stamping into the fully-stuffed mega-box "Pinata" letterbox?

We were there when it was high mosquito season. By the time we were through stamping in (at least 20 mins later) we were covered in skeeter bites!

But, yep...it was worth it! hehe
