I had a few errands to run this morning, so I was out and about early. Once the errands were done I contemplated where I could go to take a few pictures for this blog. It occurred to me that I had not been up Hyde Park Road or to the Ski Basin since it started snowing. So I took the 15 mile drive along the snow covered road. I made it up to the Ski Basin and walked a little ways on the trail. I was able to get a few pictures then I made my way back down the road. I stopped at a few places along the way to take more pictures. I pulled in to the Black Canyon Campground and was surprised to see this wonderful snowman. It brought a smile to my face and I knew it would have to make its way to this blog.

Makes me smile! And it looks as if the sun above is trying to melt the poor fellow. Nice imaging.
