I want to take better pictures, I want to improve on the way I see things, I want to see my progress. So I have decided to create a blog to post a picture a day. Hopefully by the end of the year I will have accomplished my goals . . . documenting the year with a picture a day and improving my photography skills. I hope you enjoy!

I love windmills!!
In fact if the picture was minus the cows, I think it would be sublimely perfect!
The cows give the picture character and context. Keep them. But maybe it would have been beneficial to wait for them to organize themselves into something a bit cleaner.
There's a story in this picture. I also enjoy the heat waves swimming through the horizon.

What a great photograph. It's amazing how pretty any place in the world can be through the lens of a good photographer.
I remember driving past Vega, TX on the way to my sister's home in Amarillo. We were a long way from home (Tacoma, WA). That was the the year that my husband, me and the dog were on our "Great American Road Trip". I love the Southwest - can't wait to return.
