Today I took a walk at the Santa Fe Nature Preserve. It is still very dry and dead. Not much has bloomed or budded. I looked at some chollas and noticed that they will have flowers soon, until then I took some pictures of the skeletons of some of them.

There is something that attracts me to those swiss-cheese like cholla skeletons. So unique.
