Today I had a lot of errands to run. Halfway through the errands I got tired of the traffic and construction - so I made a detour to a little park just to take a break. I came across this Thistle trying to bloom.

The flower looks just like the one we have near our driveway. Does your thistle also have a vile covering of sharp, thorny spines?
